Asha Richardson

Asha trained at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in Liverpool. Asha graduated in 2015 with a BA Hons in Community Drama. She loved her time in Liverpool, and gained so much experience working with multiple community groups and schools using Drama as a tool to educate and entertain.

Asha’s love for performing arts started in early childhood – she danced before she could walk and sang before she could speak. Over the last decade Asha has delivered Drama Workshops in primary and secondary schools across the North West, she’s created and written multiple Workshop Packs for education based Theatre Companies as well as working in professional theatres. Asha has even used Drama as a tool to educate overseas through her charity work with Ankoma Outreach.

Asha joined the Razzamataz family in 2018 after having her first little boy Lennox, she since gone on to have her second baby, Marley. In September 2020, our 20th anniversary year, Asha became the new principal of Razzamataz Penrith, and has since developed the school to Razzamataz South Lakes to include classes in both Appleby and Kendal too. Her Razzamataz journey has been an exciting one, Asha is also a founding member of the Razzamataz All Stars Academy and also sits on our Franchise Advisory Council. Asha is passionate about sharing the franchise model with others, she is driven to help grow the Razzamataz brand up and down the country, alongside being a full-time mum to both her little boys.

Asha is passionate about using Performing Arts as a tool to grow, she encourages her students to grow in confidence and grow their skill set all whilst making friends and having fun. Asha is very excited to welcome more and more faces the Razz South Lakes family!
